The tin bath is the key forming thermal equipment for float glass production, and the quality of its production, construction and installation determines the future glass production and product quality. The main structure is a tank with a top cover made of refractory material and a metal shell outside. The tank is filled with tin liquid, and the molten glass in the melting furnace flows into the tin tank through the flow tank, and floats on the tin liquid, forming a glass ribbon with uniform thickness and smooth surface with a surface close to mechanical polishing due to surface tension. The edge-drawing machine is used to produce glass with different thicknesses. The entire tank body has good airtightness, and the tank space is filled with nitrogen and hydrogen as protective gases to prevent oxidation of the tin liquid. According to the forming process, the horizontal temperature is required to be uniform, and the vertical zone temperature adjustment is convenient and can be strictly controlled. Electric heating method is adopted.
